Avoiding Mistakes for MLM Leader When Working with Social Networks
We believe you have already identified the social networks where you will have active accounts. And you have taken note of what a MLM leader's page on social media should NOT be.
So, quality photos are posted, the posts are high-quality and consistent. Likes are given by friends and colleagues, but there is no feedback.
Don't give up. Let's analyze the mistakes and reasons for the lack of responses to you, emails, and your page:
1. You think that traditional marketing and social media work on the same principle.
This is the first major mistake. Traditional marketing usually acts aggressively, attracting attention by bombarding us with ads. As soon as you start implementing this approach in social networks, the number of friends and followers will decrease faster than the wind.
In social media marketing, such behavior is a business killer. Here, we need to build everything on relationships, communication.
2. Boring posts
Boredom kills everything, as we know. Even if the information is interesting, even if the company and business are relevant, but if everything is presented in a boring way - it's the end.
How to make posts more fun and readable:
- the text and its delivery: light, casual, without being boring;
- interesting thematic images;
- catchy headlines - that's the first thing that catches attention.
3. Incorrectly chosen target audience
A medical joke told to lawyers is unlikely to cause much laughter.
The same goes here: you can provide interesting and useful information. But if you give it to people who don't need it, don't expect any response.
How to solve the problem:
- the most important thing is to define your target audience. To start, you need to surround yourself with at least a small number of like-minded people. These people will be able to support discussions on posts, like them. And in general, having a reliable shoulder nearby is always good;
- you need to identify the problems of your target audience (there should be no problems here, because every MLM leader has faced and continues to face the same problems) and offer their solutions in posts. This way you will attract those you need - people interested in MLM.
4. "Closed" leader
No, this is not someone who does not communicate with people. This is someone who can write interesting and necessary posts that attract attention. But due to oversight or fear of encountering opposing opinions, such people may close the opportunity to comment on their posts.
This is a big mistake - you need to communicate with followers and opponents.
5. Lack of behavioral culture
Of course, social networks are not a social event, but still:
- respect the opinions of others;
- not only receive, but also give;
- be honest;
- stay within the brand policy you represent.
