In April 2020, at the very beginning of the corona crisis, DNC published a rating based on the turnover of 2019. The TOP 10 included:

Objectively speaking, these corporations consistently hold top positions in the DNC ranking year after year. However, after analyzing all 100 positions, we have identified companies whose performance is growing at a remarkable pace.

TOP 5 MLM Companies by Growth Rate in 2020

Below, we will provide more details about projects that did not make it to the top 10 MLM companies globally but excelled in terms of scaling speed:

1. Color Street (colorstreet.com)

Revenue 2019: $220 million

Growth rate: +85% per year

Despite being founded in 1984, they made a splash on the internet just 1-2 years ago. The project's founder, Fa Park, bet on the uniqueness of his product - nail polish strips. The company offers health and home care products in countries that are traditionally overlooked by major MLM companies, considering the specifics of these markets. The catalog includes specific products that are relevant to the population of South Asia and the Indian Ocean coast.

The company's compensation plan has minor differences in different countries, but overall it includes 14 qualification levels. Advancement in the project's career ladder occurs when a partner increases the PV (personal volume). By selling products, distributors, depending on their qualification, receive commissions ranging from 5% to 20%. Also, Vestige Marketing has a very well-thought-out bonus system:

- The company allocates 3% of the monthly sales volume to its Travel Fund, from which employee business trips are compensated;

The company's marketing plan includes at least 7 types of bonuses, 5 qualification ranks, and income from group sales volume can be earned from up to 8 levels deep. Depending on the qualification, partners receive commissions ranging from 5% to 20% of the sales turnover; and for advancing the rank of a lower-level distributor, the sponsor receives a fixed one-time payment ranging from $250 to $10,000.

5. OPTAVIA / Medifast, Inc. (optavia.com)

Technically, the Medifast brand was created in 1980, with OPTAVIA being their flagship subsidiary, which until 2017 operated under the name Take Shape for Life. Medifast was included in the TOP 100 most trustworthy companies in America according to Forbes in 2016 and 2017; and OPTAVIA, starting in 2017, has been showing steady growth. In the second quarter of 2019, the project involved around 30,000 active nutrition coaches.

The main goal of the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle. The company's product line includes various meal plans and a healthy portion-controlled set of products/meals. The main partners of the company are doctors and other healthcare professionals who promote the products among their patients.

Becoming a partner and purchasing the company's initial product kit, a newcomer gains access to MLM training program, marketing tools, a personal website for business development, and a set of merchandise (pens, diaries, and other items with the company's logo).
