An MLM project is the end-to-end launch of a multi-level marketing company — from compensation plan design and software development through legal registration, product sourcing, distributor onboarding, and marketing. It typically takes 4 to 9 months and costs $50,000–$300,000.

**Phases of an MLM project**

*   **Plan design** — compensation plan modeling and simulation against expected sales scenarios.
*   **Software development** — custom MLM software or customization of an existing script.
*   **Legal compliance** — registration, distributor agreements, income disclosures, FTC compliance review.
*   **Product sourcing** — supplier contracts, inventory management, fulfillment logistics.
*   **Distributor training** — onboarding materials, scripts, video training, replicated website setup.
