**Defining features of a matrix plan in MLM**

*   **Fixed grid** — width × depth; for example, 3 frontline positions and 9 levels deep.
*   **Spillover** — once frontline is full, new recruits spill into the next open slot below.
*   **Cycle bonus** — grid completion triggers a lump-sum bonus and a re-entry position.
*   **Level commissions** — flat or tiered percentages on sales at each level within the matrix.
