To start a multi level marketing company, you build five things in sequence: a viable product, a tested compensation plan, MLM software, legal compliance documents, and a launch marketing strategy. Each component depends on the previous one.

**Sequence to start a multi level marketing company**

*   **Define the product** — repeat-purchase items work best for sustained commission flow.
*   **Model the compensation plan** — simulate payouts under different distributor growth scenarios before committing to it.
*   **Build the software** — distributor portals, commission engine, e-commerce, replicated sites.
*   **Draft compliance documents** — distributor agreement, income disclosure statement, FTC compliance policies.
*   **Plan the launch** — pre-launch waitlist, founding distributor incentives, launch event.

**Definition:** Starting a multi level marketing company requires sequencing five critical components: product, compensation plan, software, compliance, and launch strategy. Each depends on the one before — the compensation plan can't be finalized without product economics, software can't be built without the plan, and compliance documents reference both.
